Denouncing Hatred: Conservatives Appalled At Glenn Beck

On September 22, conservative MSNBC host Joe Scarborough announced an "honor roll" for conservatives who are willing to denounce Glenn Beck's "hatred," making specific reference to Beck's statement that President Obama is "a racist" with a "deep-seated hatred for white people." Several media conservatives in addition to Scarborough have denounced Beck's rhetoric as "harmful" and "race-baiting."

@truckdawg43 Could this clip be doctored, sure. Soros and Media Matters, I don't know the facts so I'll take your word for it. Joe Scar IS an oaf. I have also seen Glen Beck in action. What I witnessed was at first a new, fresh approach to the issues but then he got out of control (or was it that way to begin with) scribbling on his chalk board and jumping around in disgust at appearance of his conclusions. I can say I gave it a shot but he does not hold an ounce of credibility.

@Astrochronic You are discrediting yourself when you say Beck never said Obama is a racist. That can be easaly found if you search for it on Youtube. You are discrediting yourself once again when you say it is easy to back up that Obama is a racist by what he is saying. If you imply he is a racist because he is a friend with Oprah that won't hold the water. Show me the clip or quote the manuscript of his speech in which he favored one race over the other. Until then you discredited yourself.

@truckdawg43 this forum is to enable people to say whatever they want. It absolutely makes no sense that participants would pander to left or right because you cannot track these comments to anyone. You may or may not agree with what is being written but to call somebody a coward for posting his/her opinion would be out of line if it had any sense. As far as Glenn Beck, sure, he should be allowed to say whatever he wants. Some will agree, some won't. But when he crosses the line do not whine.
