With Todd Bentley speaking of an angel that appeared as female, this has renewed the discussion of angels as females and whether or not it is biblical. Some have said that in Zechariah 5 the passage refers to female angels. But on closer inspection, we see that the "winged women" represent evil, along with the woman in the basket. This video explains Zechariah's vision and how it can't be used to justify angels appearing as female.

  • Pneuma is the Greek translation. However Hebrew is the original language. Which refers to the Holy Spirit as feminine.

  • @mackinazzcash And Hebrew contains to neuter nouns. Like I said, gender of a noun has nothing to do with the object of that noun. "Hill" is feminine, "bed" is feminine, "chair" is masculine. The word "wall" is masculine and feminine, depending on which word you use. But none of that matters because we all know that hills, beds, and chairs lack gender itself.

  • @DawnTransformed In other words, grammatical gender should not be confused with physical gender.

  • Hebrew is the original language of mankind and if Yashua refers to the Holy Spirit as a female and the Elohim cannot lie. For Yashua to refer to the spirit as a female when she a male would make the Elohim a lie.

  • @mackinazzcash Elohim does not lie. "Pneuma" is gender neutral, "ruach" is feminine. But the gender of a noun has nothing to do with gender identity.

  • Everything that God creates he creates masculine and feminine. Even the Holy Spirit (Ruah) is a woman and when Yahsua referred to the Holy Spirit Even in the New Testament he spoke Hebrew or Aramaic and even he refers to the Holy Spirit as a woman. Everything created below is a copy of the spiritual realm. We understand the nature of the spiritual realm and the Godhead through what was created.

  • @mackinazzcash The Holy Spirit is male. In French, the word 'car' is feminine, but that doesn't mean the car is actually feminine. Same thing in Hebrew.
