Kong's Southeast Asian Red Junglefowl - Foundation Male #2

This is another one of my foundation Southeast Asian Red Junglefowl. He is 50-60% pure red junglefowl and consist only of exclusive bloodlines from Southeast Asia.

His crow is an adequate example of red junglefowls from Southeast Asia (correct pitch and tone, third syllable glottal vibration, and short ending note). He will be 2-years-old in 2012.

His strengths in comparison to a pure red junglefowl are:

1) Excellent vibrant red coloration
2) Small tear-drop shaped head
3) Thin comb
4) Horizontal tail carriage
5) Appropriate main sickle tail feather length
6) Appropriate lesser sickle feathers length
7) Proportional leg length
8) Dark, slate/blue, single-colored legs
9) Extreme flight capability (similar to a quail)
10) Very skittish and hyperactive behaviors around non-owner
11) Goes through an annual eclipse molt with solid black,rounded, short, neck hackle feathers that replace its long bright, red/orange, neck hackle feathers.


It's weaknesses in comparison to pure red junglefowls are:

1) Possessing 5 lesser sickle feathers (pure red junglefowls only have 4 lesser sickle feathers)
2) Leaning comb (pure red junglefowl combs are upright).
