SW:TOR PvP Gameplay - Bounty Hunter Mercenary, Pyrotech Spec (Level 50)

Level 50 Mercenary Bounty Hunter PvP Gameplay, Alderaan Civil War Warzone map in Star Wars: The Old Republic beta.

Finally got around to trying out Pyrotech (formerly known as Firebug) for you guys. After actually playing it, it's alot better than I expected it. Definitely more fun to play than Arsenal, and while the burst isn't nearly as good, the consistent low cost, instant cast damage is pretty nice.

Also I turned on 8x AA and shadows/bloom for this video, I hope that makes it better to look at. My previous videos have no AA, no shadows and no bloom, and are not a fair example of what the game looks like on maxed settings, while this video (aside from the quality lost during rendering) is.

It's funny how you get so upset at people calling you bad. I mean you're pretty bad considering you used railshot like 3 times, every encounter in this vid was either a 2v1 or a 3v1

You should use rail shot whenever it's off cd... This class isn't cast base so ur doing it wrong

Some helpful tips for pyrotechs by Sybaris (server: Warriors of the Shadow). Railshot is the #1 heat reduction tool you have and should be used AS SOON as it procs, don't try to time it. Also, your target should always be on fire before you do anything else. Level 50's should have a talent point in the Arsenal tree used for reducing the heat cost of Powershot, and i recommend putting at least 2 points in reducing pushback for PS and Unload. Remember: Pyrotech's only weakness= other pyrotechs

i play pyro tech merc and im always top of the board in kills and dmg , i have ful champ gear though so makes alot diffrence :D my thermal detonator can crit almost 5k

I just respeced to Pyrotech the other night to try it out and found the same results. Less big numbers but more damage overall and much more mobile. Not going back to Tracermissle.

@HTeast Way more mobile than Arsenal. It has huge burst damage that people don't expect
