DIY Microphone Shock mount

This was put online per a request from a couple people at Videocamp Texas. The mount hasn't been used for a year or two so the bands have worn out, but this should give you a good idea of one method of procuring a boom pole and shock mount for less than $40. I got some really great results from this rig. The biggest downside would be that the pole itself is a bit heavier than a professional one... Though you could get a pro pole and still use a similar DIY mount :)
