@jesussavesist We don't know how He looked, but we do know He was a Jew. It makes no difference how we see Him, as long as we get to know Him.

Well, this is very interesting. I am not sure what shade Jesus' skin was, but I am sure that under his skin he was same as you and I, red; and I am very happy that some of that red was spilled for me, because that is the only part of him that stayed behind, on this planet, after he was taken to heaven. God bless, and don't waste your time on "outer"; "inner" is more valuable.Great song. Have a good day.

@jesussavesist In your original post you said "White evangelicals have told me loud and clear that God is for white people only." This highlights my point about the sinful racial conflict in the US. Whoever told you this, is not a Christian - Matthew 28:19 "Therefore go and make disciples of ALL nations". American politics is very mixed up with religion. Just cause someone says they are a Christian, doesn't always mean so. God bless.

MY POINT: Jesus was probably neither EXTREME black or EXTREME white. AND does this really matter? Is not the salvation offered by Christ more important that his skin colour? Did he have short hair/long hair, a short man/tall man? Are these an issue too? This whole debate you raise arises comes from the sinful past/current racial conflict in the US. People portray Christ like their own ethnicity simply because no-one knows what colour he was, and people identify better with their own people.

@jesussavesist True but Jews and Arabs are both related - Semitic people. Arabs have remained in the same geographical location and are still a darker white skin type. Jews at most would have lightened only slightly given their minimal mixing with Europeans. Only slightly though as Jews traditionally have only married their own people, hence the high presence of genetic illnesses amongst Jewish people today.

@jesussavesist Jesus was most likely the same colour as Jewish people today - a darker white. Therefore, it is unlikely that he was African coloured or pure white. This issue just distracts people from the real message of Christ.
Thanks for putting this on youtube. Make sure you correct the lyrics as it is " meek and humble." As we know meek is power withheld which truly reflect our Savior. I am sure it was a oversight.
