i dont care anybody else says...when ur in something like that, its scary as hell. i was in that shit and was out of power for a week. nothings more scary than hearing trees pop and crack and u dont know where they are going to land!
great video. have a safe hurricane season.

i was outside when a 80 or so mph wind gust came through

I was in that and it wasnt intense enough for me. I stood outside the entire time and just watched it.
Around here some ppl actually go out and play in these things. I'm not that crazy, but for me to get scared of wind in a hurricane cars have to start moving, or buildings have to start coming apart in chunks, and big building at that, not just houses.

I live in BR. Great video capturing how strong those winds were. Hard to believe that in reality what BR experienced was tropical storm forced winds, with a few hurricane forced gusts. I cannot imagine going through a full fledged Cat. 3/4/5. Imagine how much worse this could have been for BR, even, had it been a Cat. 4/5 at landfall.
