A very quick and dirty intro to graphing functions in MS Mathematics 4.0, using 3-D spherical coordinates. The functions shown are 'real spherical harmonics', which describe d-orbitals in the hydrogen atom, of interest mostly to chemists, who find quantum mechanics kinda hard.

  • give em hell harry.

  • this is the best product review ever LOL comedy !

  • "So what good is this thing?" I love the searing disdain of the narrator which runs throughout. It's like a self-caricature.

But despite the studied lack of objectivity, the power of MS Maths shines through brilliantly, revealing that "this thing" really is good! And trust me, it is. It's also free.
