This clip is what made me so in love with her, and I was fortunate enough to see her in stockholm winter 2011. It was the best ever. Her joy is SO inspiring, Whenever I feel like nothing in singing is fun, and I want to quit, I just watch this and it makes me so happy and inspired. Nobody ever could compare to La Bartoli. I love her.

E' sicuramente tra i migliori soprani del momento e,credo,anche dei tempi passati.Non è la mia preferita per via del timbro,preferisco voci squillanti e acute come Sumi Jo,ma niente da dire sulla capacità tecnica e sulla sua espressività!!!E poi,quanto bello non è vederla che sorride sempre alla fine di ogni performance!!??!Anche caratterialmente e sentimentalmente,deve essere una persona che si distingue...

The reason for the negative comments is that what people can't understand, they have to hate. Cecilia is arguably the best soprano (even though she's a mezzo!) in the world right now, with a technique that no one but she can understand. I stand amazed at her artistry. Thank you very much for posting this!

My favorite part of Cecilia is that she just cannot hide her emotions... she looks so ridiculously in love with music when she is singing, it just has to make you smile. :)
