Time-lapse film of car journey from Derby to Ashbourne via the A52 passing through Kirk Langley and Brailsford.
The final parking location is Mayfield Road, just after the church.
This film is made from 1509 individual photographs taken over the 25 minute journey.

  • Wow, Excellent Video, i live in the nearby town of Uttoxeter. Ashbourne has some great pubs for sitting out on those warm summer days, when we get the odd one that is :)

  • Thanks, Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for the Sub.

  • You went too bloody fast thru Brailsford and I am glad you were held up by the lights at the bottom of the hill like the rest of us.

Thanks for bothering - brilliant tube. 5*

  • Glad you liked it, I will try and do Braisford in normal speed sometime for you.

  • What's the zig-zag line in the middle of the lane mean?

  • Those are known in the UK as chevrons, The area is marked with diagonal stripes and bordered by solid white lines, which you should not enter it except in an emergency.

  • Very good. In 1987 i was a student in Derby and I lived for a while in the hamlet of Yeldersley, Lady Hole Lane!

I used to do this very journey everyday and I am glad to see that things have not chanmged much here.

I remember hitting a pheasant one day which cost me a few quid for a new Cortina headlamp!

Thanks for the video. I have not ben back since 1988!
