Ford has unveiled the facelifted Taurus at the New York Auto Show.

Benchmarked against the Audi A6, the updated model features a new hood, a modified grille, restyled headlights, and LED taillights. Likewise, the SHO is distinguished by a black mesh grille, HID headlights, a rear spoiler and exclusive 19-inch alloy wheels.

Inside, the cabin has been outfitted with higher quality materials, additional soft-touch plastics, and new switchgear. If that isn't impressive enough, options include a heated steering wheel, massaging front seats, keyless ignition and MyFord Touch.

Under the hood, the entry-level model is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 that produces 290 hp (216 kW / 294 PS) and 255 lb-ft (345 Nm) of torque. If you're more concerned about fuel efficiency, there's also a new 2.0-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder with 237 hp (177 kW / 240 PS) and 250 lb-ft (339 Nm) of torque. It is expected to deliver at least 31 mpg highway. Lastly, the Taurus SHO has a 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 that develops 365 hp (272 kW / 370 PS) and 350 lb-ft (474 Nm) of torque.

  • احد يسلفني قيمتها؟؟؟؟

  • than the new 2013 ford taurus comeing out

  • This car gonna be or is sold in the EU??

    Even the oldest models?

  • what a bunch of sales talk rubbish!

That park assist for instance. WHY!? Its for people who can't park their car? Well then how did those people get their drivers license? Cars like this will encourage bad drivers to buy cars that are too big for them and that will cause accidents.

Parking distance sensors are good. But a car that parks itself? You're advertising: I can't drive, please take my license away.

Also a V6? 4-cilinder is plenty in terms of eco and power but it depends on your driving

  • @hollbri2 No sound? Are you joking? Practically all 4-cylinder cars run at a higher RPM, a common complaint about the old Saabs (from Amercians at least) is they were "loud" and "unrefined". I think what you mean is a V8 produces a more relaxed, less urgent sound.

  • @jacketman22 a four pot is not for me -it has no sound,no nothing.i drive an infiniti m56 with an v8 and i know why...i only wish that ford or lincoln would build a new fullsize luxury sedan with rear wheel drive!!

  • @h4x0rMC

FORD made all HITLERS Trucks, considered HITLERS back bone.

    GM made Hitlers Tanks

Henry Fords Picture was on HITLERS wall they admired each other.

Look up Dearborn Independent 1919 most anti-Semitic RAG on earth

    HE hates JEWS

Transmission Specialist LOVE Taurus, Vans Too.

Taurus MOST notorious for BAD TRANSMISSIONS since production began

Prior purchasing inquire at ANY transmission repair shop. ask your specialist which car is on their hoists the most. TAURUS

  • @hollbri2 What's funny is the new I-4 produces about the same amount of power as the Crown Vic's old V8, working with only half the displacement. Say what you want about the car but the four-pot is clearly better.

  • @carwrtr1 this comment deserves a 100 thumbs up
