Pope Benedict XVI celebrated Mass on Sunday morning at Brno in Moravia, the second city of the Czech Republic. The central theme of the Mass was Christian hope. In his homily, the Holy Father emphasized the need to build on Christ, our life. The Pope said that although technical developments and the improvement of social structures are certainly important and necessary but not sufficient to guarantee the moral well-being of society.
