@clarissa1904 As an informal rule of thumb, "customers" will buy something; "members" not necessarily. I do demos and there is definitely a difference between the two. Of course, all of the shoppers in Costco are 'members', but it is the 'customers' generally speaking who buy!

Oh my goodness Jim Sinegal you called them CUSTOMERS!!!! Lol, the warehouse that I work at spent a good six months training me to call the people who shop at Costco, "our MEMBERS". Cause we all know that members are way cooler than customers :-)

@123WORK1 i'm surprised to see that from employees commenting, ESPECIALLY IN RETAIL!!! and after 1 year! i used to work at target and I HATED IT, should of applied for costco, I LOVE SHOPPING THERE! warehouse stores are the WAY TO GO!
