These are five Leopard Seals that Robert Alexander and I were able to interact with during the 2008/09 Antarctic Season. Thanks to Lindblad Expeditions, MS National Geographic Endeavour, and the advice of Paul Nicklen and Goran Ehlme.

  • I WONDER HOW MUCH NG PAYS,BECAUSE IT MUST BE A AWFUL LOT FOR SOME HUMANS TO GET IN THE WATER WITH ONE OF THE DEADLIEST CREATURES ON EARTH AND TAKE PICTURES? THESE ANIMALS ARE SO GRACEFUL AND BEAUTIFUL THAT YOU'LL OVER LOOK THE FACT THAT THEIR KILLERS

  • @Metropolis3003 You never know.

  • @readynow12345

    Really don't know Mr. Hannibal...

Anyways; It was a joke afterall...

It's not that i would care at all if someone actually killed and grilled some...

I would be pissed if someone killed them for fun and left to rot; but not if used...

  • Why don't we grill you, I bet you taste even better , put a little salt & pepper on you, maybe marinade your thigh

or buttocks muscles yummy. after all humans are just as edible.

  • Majestic creature, beautiful melody.
