1998 and 1974 AMAs for Favorite Pop Group - AMA 1998

Richard Carpenter and George Benson present the 1998 American Music Award for Favorite Pop Group by first showing a clip of the same award being presented at the first AMA show in 1974 by
Donny Osmond, Michael Jackson, Rodney Allen Rippy, and Ricky Segall. They then present the 1998 award to the Spice Girls and accept it on their behalf as they were preparing for a world tour and couldn't attend the show.
