    Yes, they do broadcast the live sound, just not the room sound. This here was obviously recorded with just one or two mics in the room, for the camera, so he echo and reverb of the venue is on this recording, too.

    nah that's how the audience hears it, when we see it on TV they broadcast the mic, not live sound.
