Chad has a standing bet with his friends that he is faster than Milwaukee Brewers First Baseman, and Home Run Slugger, Prince Fielder. Never mind that Fielder is a professional, paid, athlete and Chad hasn't had a work out regiment since college. Chad's confident in his own... well for a lack of a better term "abilities."
We wanted to see what Prince Fielder's average from Home to First Base was... unfortunately that data does not exist. So Rhyno attended a game and got a time from Fielder When he hit a line drive to right field. That time was 5.37 seconds (30 yards). We wanted some concrete times as well. So we looked up Fielder's Spring training stats and his BEST 60 Yard Dash was 6.80 seconds.
We decided to have a little fun with this. What turned out to be just a stupid... stupid bet... actually turned into some good writing and improv. I didn't have a full crew or even a good camera... but we had fun. I wanted to spend more time editing but this was shot in a day... it was only fitting that the edit would take the same amount of time.
Thanks To Cate, Dan, Rhyno, Kelly, Fish, Becky, Amanda, and everyone else who thought I could or could not pull this off.
