i cooked this today......i must say that it was amazingly goodd...i'll make it forever..and anytime...;)..it was really tasty... thanks Shebba for sharing this with us....it was just perfect...:) loved it...!!!..:)...and i just love the way you cook your masalas down...the raw flavour of the masalas are just gone when i cook like this...this is what i was lacking in...thanks for that too.....i wish i could give you a gift or something in return.:-)

@dilkasaaf Where did you get that from. I make potato salad with red potatoes and I leave the skin on.I soak, scrub and washed my potatoes before cooking them. You left such a rude comment on this ladies video and she did not deserve it. She seem very hygienic in the the way she prepared her meal.

@Limelights1 I prefer to wash the rice. You can cook without washing if you prefer.

Why do you soak the basmati rice in salted water?

@TartanLassie5 Soaking basmati rice allows the rice grain to expand when cooked. You can try both ways and will notice a difference.
