#OWS #N17 "Loosen the Cuffs" around 10:15am

Occupy215 correspondent Chris montgomery along with Rick kauffman and Caitlin Morris arrived in new york's financial district and this was the first confrontation they saw.

We do not know the details of what led up to the arrests at Broad & Beaver Streets. One of the arrested protestors complained that the zip tie cuffs were too tight and that she could not feel her hands. Other protesters at the scene demanded that NYPD officers loosen the cuffs. NYPD did not comply with the demand.

During the verbal confrontation, another group of protestors arrived at the intersection to show support.

After this larger group formed, police trapped protestors and occupy215 correspondents behind barricades for approximately 10 minutes before officers led the large group away.

The group headed for Zuccotti Park at that point.
