@andrehustle1 i wouldent say becuase in the comics leo once beat him in an arm wrestle. leo just always won but this time he was cocky then he uasully is when him and raph fight and since leo isint completely better then raph im not sure if he was trying to beat raph or not but i know that this shows leo needs to try to beat raph hes not as much as thought but he is better

Raphael is physically more dominant than Leonardo. It's just temper that sets him apart from Leonardo giving Leonardo the upper hand in most battles that. I feel this fight was showing people that the new age turtles at that time at least we're growing as individuals and Rafael was becoming more focused even when tempered.

@Budgiein87 Besides, ninjato significantly differs from katana. It has a long handlebar and a short blade in comparison. Leo's weapon of choice are katanas and are referred to as such throughout the series (regardless of whether Leo is a ninja or samurai). Whether you like it or not, katanas are universally considered as the deadliest close combat tool known to man and, without the doubt, the most durable one. Overuse of sais is,like the ninjaken, invention of modern media. Case closed.

@Budgiein87 Man, you made so many mistakes I don't even know where to start! Okay, here goes... Sai and jutte/jitte are two different weapons and it doesn't really matter that cops in Okinawa carry them around. Western cops, for example, carry tonfa but they are still in major disadvantage when dealing against long range stabbing weaponry (it's the fire arms that makes difference). Ninjato/ninjaken, on the other hand, is a fictional weapon created for the purposes of Holywood (like you said).
