one thing i dont get: they think it is the americans that did the killing because of the body, but they alllso say "man down!" and you can see the body! they must have found the russian body! with the tatoos and stuff.

What you did was you fucked up the scripted event of the men throwing a grenade in the elevator. All three police are supposed to get in, so killing one causes the others to sit and wait for the third, which never gets in. They never start the elevator, so Makarov and his men have to wait for the elevator that will never get there.
