Jeff, Ive owned TB #1490S since new..In the 80's the ex took out the entire 2nd floor window.. frame and all. It was sticking in the ground headstock first. Pulled it out.. reset the intonation and turned up the amp.. It lost a fret the top E formed a nice dent in one pickup cover.Still play it a few hours a day. Agree... I'll never sell mine..if stolen.. the hunt would be on untill found..Their headstone would be and old Kamart electric guitar..

The neck is hollow...not solid. Koa comes from Hawaii, not from Brazil...

The neck is solid alluminum with a Brazilian Rosewood fretboard, it is not hollow. I stand corrected about the KOA wood being from Hawaii that is used for my Bean, but really all you said is that "Koa wood comes from Hawaii not Brazil", you are wrong there certainly is Koa wood from Brazil (Google it).
