That is so cute! Very smart idea doing straight animations for cut scenes. I am making a game as well, and it is taking decades to code these things xD. But I think I may switch to just making them animations instead. :D

@DeusMarionette Oh really :D? Well I will try to post a short demo sometime soon. If you get on deviantArt (which is where I will post the game) you can find me as TuxedoMiniMask ... I am making a Sailor Moon fan game :). I figure I would start making a fan game before pursuing original projects. The game will be in RPG format, but I am making the battle system more like a platform game (which is quite frustrating xD).

Yes. I love it! I was expecting a text cutscene and was surprised to hear voices, which we're well performed by Rifftiff and Urself. Animation was very fluent, love the music and the sound effect blended nicely. Can't wait to see the other cutscene :)
