My opinion on Dragon Ball Evolution

yeah I saw it and I thought it was very well done. its just sad that people that "claim" there DBZ fans cant see outside the box nor did they do there homework. cause if they had they would know Akira Toriyama personally gave his stamp of approval for the movie. Thus making it an indirect Akira work. not to mention they had to change some things to keep it in the real spectrum. the lost kingdom already did the whole monkey king thing so lets give the movie the respect it deserves.

Just to point this out, Toriyama starts off skeptical on his opinion about this adaptation, yet says he looks forward to it. However, months after the release Toriyama has been awfully quiet about DBE, don't you think?

Whether you like the movie or not, that's your opinion and I accept it. The main problem I have with DBE is that I don't think it's right to alter a story that's already set in stone.

It's like altering Superman's origins or giving Batman superpowers. You just don't do it.

@DarkSchnieder666 sometimes it was done pretty well (Red Son is a good example). but this is not like DBE, DBE is a pile of goat shit who insult everything made before it. Gokuh is a white nuts goin' at college, and Oozaru is not a Sayajin transformation but a fuckin' demon. and Piccolo looks like I took a crap. they had awesome materials, they took it, and fused it with enema.

@DarkSchnieder666 even if that is true it was probably before he say it and so it dosn't mean anything just look at Warriors of the wind ( the crappy Naussica and the valley of the wind) they approved it at first but when the saw the results they started asking people to forget about it and refused to let any more changes in any of the dubs except for translation

I concur. I watched it with my brother and we wanted to kick our asses for doing it. If all else, it should have been either differently or not at all. It was a great disappointment AND great waste of money.
