Just some quotes from the early church figures speaking about the gnostics and how they were treated when debating with them in the streets...

For those who wish to argue still about this doctrine, I'm sorry... you don't have your issue with me, you have your issue with the scriptures, and the men/women who handled YOUR scriptures in the early church... they speak in unison I'm afraid...

and if you're not the least bit studied up on the gnostics, don't bother arguing please... arguing from ignorance is useless! this is not arrogance, it's just the truth... and I used to do it, and I was the fool who didn't know what I was talking about. READ FOR YOURSELF! you do not have to take my word for it... the entire 11 volume set of early church writings are available to read free online...

And yes... I'm aware that Tertullian did depart into a Montanist sect later on, this quote was taken prior to his departure into a gnostic sect... if you wish to dismiss it, fine---there are still plenty of others outside of this small snippet of clips.

I know the context... I don't make ignorant claims, you have backed up nothing you believe with Scripture and I've given you plenty. Would you like a list? I go out preaching in the open air and you act like one of the heathen... not a Christian. We all HAVE fallen short, we don't have to continue in sin--go read Romans 6 and 8, and if you think 7 justifies you--realize it's about Paul's life as a past Pharisee under the law. Stop sinning, get right with God.

I gave you plenty of Scripture--you ignore it. I also pointed you towards other Christian videos which you refuse to watch--so that you might actually learn how you're listening to demons. Even in the early church it's written that demons were known to have influenced pagan poets and playwriters---and you think you're exempt from it now in mainstream music? Repent! Go watch the documentaries I informed you of, they are backed up by much Scripture and research.

We all are gonna fall short of sin. Including you. The problem was that they were abusing Gods grace
