This is so good it hurts. I never get tired of the song. So much depth and resonance in a minimal package.

@MissMael I almost do all of my premusic buying by researching here at YouTube. The radio isn't the place to go anymore as they don't pick up the good songs. Most recently I bought Credo by The Human League after watching Night People video here on Youtube. I gave me a taste of what the album would be, and glad I purchased it.

This, I'd say, is minimal music in a pop context. The typical traits are all there. Successfully connecting these two worlds has to count as genius.
Apparently the Maels like anagrams, too - at 2:34, COLORBLIND becomes NO CRIB DOLL. :D Not like I'd be surprised...

It seems to me that Sparks in the 70's was great. Later they just became repetitive. This song and "The # 1 Song in Heaven" for example.

The sad thing is that YouTube was a very good source for listening to musicians and decide what to buy. I didn't buy any Sparks until I had the chance to have a proper listen on YouTube, I have bought all their albums. The same goes for Yello and Alphaville, every song I have by them is bought and that is because I can pick the songs I like on iTunes. Now I started to buy Fabrizio de André too and him I heard for the first time on YouTube. The companies are digging their own grave.

Yeah I havn't been on old Utube in a while...noticed a lot of good vids like tips for teens and ect are missing ...whats going on? Did you save all the vids you have MissMael?

I have the videos but YouTube won't let me upload them again :( If this continues I guess I have to move to Dailymotion or something.
