It may seem a bit contrary to popular perceptions of disabilities to have four-wheelers available to those that have experienced spinal cord injuries. But, it really isn't.

Treatment for someone recovering from a disability causing accident requires many things. One is the feeling that you can return to many of the activities you either were participating in before the accident, or the opportunity to try something you never had before.

Camp ASCCA's staff gets a kick out of seeing Shepherd Center roll into camp each time they visit during the year. They bring in panel trucks and trailers filled with recreational equipment - like four-wheelers.
