just imagine rectangle black box with one hole at the bottom and one hole at the top. hot air goes up, so air flow will arise. can somebody explain me, why there are the cans?

What did you use for the top transparent board? Some kind of PVC? Is it tinted or only seems so? Wouldn't tintedPVC reduce the efficiency of the collector?

@mladanada I used lexan 1/8"(3mm),not tinted just an illusion.plexiglass is a good choice as well, and cheaper.
