@STEPASAUR This is so true. A generation from now, he's going to be the character of Seattle - an adept, unpretentious intellectual in his own right, one that takes you by complete surprise. There's an interview at the Experience Music Project where Sir Mix A Lot makes a really strong argument that Baby Got Back has a feminist message.

Man, this cat knows his game AND is old-school!
Whatever it is that one creates, hold on to the rights of your creations. It's your residual down the road. Some of these cats had one or two hits in their careers and STILL got bank because they still have publishing rights to their cuts!
Being a photographer myself, I can relate to that. I learned alot from this interview.

I LOVE SIR MIX O LOT. He is real. He paid me 5 bucks for my cassette tape of my music in 1997 in front of Video Update.... He is way down and way cool and supports local musicians.
