Even water swirls down the drain opposite the way it does here. My late husband was in the US Navy Seabees and was at the South Pole for a year. The most awful boring duty in the service. He came home very sick and died shortly at age 22. It's a very wieird place in every say you can think of. The Navy issues them large amounts of acoholic beverages to help with the boredom. so they come home badly addicted. as well as physically ill. It's just a very weird place.

Why does everything, all the heavenly bodies--sun, etc. pass from west to east, i.e. from right to left, on this supposedly, as stated "south-facing" camera?? I've really lost confidence in what is coming from the "south-facing" camera at Neumayer. I would really like to get straightened out on this one....anybody?

@silkcat51 because your viewing from the bottom of earth , not the top ! imagine your self looking up at the sun , instead of down . Easy answer
