Jessie Lee Miller at the Broken Spoke in Austin, Texas. Brad Fordham Bass, Will Indian Guitar, Johnny (John Gill) Tupelo on Drums and the amazing Cindy Cashdollar on Steel Guitar.
Sheena & the Rokkets, Wanda Jackson, The Clash, Tokyo Belle, Honeyhonker, they're all good.

  • @Wisegeorge Well Said Wise George!

  • I definitely recommend Cindy's own album - it's called Slide Show and it's gorgeous! They have it at Amazon I believe & maybe even iTunes. Or, at a REAL record store, perchance!

She's been playing since she was an early teenager.

    Fabulous CC !

  • Cindy is a godess!!!! as a woman and as a Steelplayer..

  • If you don't think her playing on this video is worthwhile it just means you don't know shit.

  • Jerry Douglas is great dobro player. There is no doubt about that, but Cindy has defined and expanded many genres (alt. country, trad.

country, jazz, western swing, Hawaiian, etc.) while playing with the greatest artists of all time. I don't know about great videos featuring her. Just go see her live, or listen to the records. That's all that I ask.

When it comes to steel guitar, it's a Cindy-centric universe.

  • Ok compass, I'll give her one more shot. I was hoping someone would post something worthwhile of hers. Any suggestions of other sites to watch cool vids? If she is Tiger Woods, who's Jerry Douglas, God?

  • I would suggest giving Cindy Cashdollar a serious second listen, and I would also suggest that you exit the friendly confines of YouTube once in a while. Cindy is an international icon! Check out her work with Van Morrison, Asleep at the Wheel, Bob Dylan, Ryan Adams, Rosie Flores, etc. She is to steel guitar what Tiger Woods and Roger Federer are to their respective sports.

  • Really?.....really? I have been listening to her here on youtube and I can't find anything of hers that is great. She is very good, her playing is nice enough, she's just no Rob Ickes or Mike Auldridge. I keep waiting to hear something amazing from her, and I keep getting disappointed.

  • GREAT STUFF GEORGE !!!

  • Cindy is ridiculously good. She is the patron saint of all steel guitarists. We should all have little statues of her on our steel guitars when we do gigs.

  • Amazing to see such talented people in a very laid-back, low-key place (or maybe this was the early show?),anyway you are lucky folks there in Austin.

  • I enjoy this swinging version of the Wanda Jackson classic. Jessie Lee is the real deal, George.

  • Cindy rocks!

  • Great Video, Live music is the best.

  • A sweet sound and groovy graphics oh WiseOne. Thanks George.
