Protest / Riots, sadly RIP Ian Tomlinson also

was about to take this video down when I read about the Ian Tomlinson footage, RIP - it seems like a lot rests on the police nowadays - I wouldn't want that job. so much depends on your decision, in this case whether to push someone or not (probably not they would reflect now) - so much of the policing seemed to go ok but one error and then the media fallout...

hopefully we wont see another repeat of athens - policing alone cost £7m+ in London last wednesday - rioting tends to be indiscriminate i.e the action doesn't actually do much to affect the person / people who caused the anger - it tends to hit the community and the individual who had nothing to do with the cause -

hopefully, the individual or individuals if guilty in this case will be dealt with swiftly by our legal system avoiding the destruction you'll see in these images.
