@Lalfee "but men in balaclavas hurling Starbucks mugs at police horses.." They are Agent Provocateurs..they even admited to using them at the Toronro G20 summit. They give the cops a reason to attack innocent protesters. They all wear balaclavas so the cops know which people not to strike.

genocide? 8000 palestinians killed between 1987-2010. minus 40% combatant= 4800, minus 1500 intra-violence=3300. Now count this, between 2006-2010 palestinians killed 600 palestinians. Put this on the span of 1987-2010 and you can get the amount of 3450. Information attained from anti-Israel B'tselem organisation and israel's ministry of foreign affairs. Have a nice day. Why the hell would any responsible parent take their child anywhere near this? I have watched a number of videos at different stages of this protest and it seems to me the police withstood a lot of provocation. I have great sympathy for the people of Palestine - but men in balaclavas hurling Starbucks mugs at police horses is just stupid and will do no ones cause any good whatsoever.

"This" did not break out until later. For most of the day the march was very peaceful. The ugliness did not start until near dusk when the police kettled and attacked the peaceful march. This video shows people responding to being attacked.
