This tutorial will allow you to semi-professionally clean songs, the same way radio editing cleans them.
This is a technique used by some radio stations if they don't have the clean version of a song for song requests. My friend's brother used to work for a radio station.

This software in this tutorial is 100% free. Audacity 1.3.6

  • can u make it sound like shwwwwwwww

  • @deepriv123 Yes, I'm just unsure of how to in audacity. The procedure has to do with editing the soundwave so that it deamps and generates noise as it reaches the end of the range.

There are a lot of great presets for this in Cool Edit Pro (now known as Adobe Audition... I still use CEP though...) -- peace.

  • Is this legal i want to do this but i just need to know if its legal

  • @killzone824 It's illegal if you profit from it or broadcast over a radio without consent of the publisher. Should be good for anything else.

  • TECH N9NE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @deepriv123 You can do it in audacity 1.3 beta, select the swear word then click effect then click sliding time scale/pitch shift then in the box under final pitch shift that says (semitones) [-12 to 12], type -12.000 then click OK.

  • @deepriv123 You download "TapeStop"

  • @michhaeelll go to effect>sliding time scale/pitch shift and then set initial pitch to 0 and final pitch to -50. don't mess with the tempo or semitones;)

  • @XXEpicxfacexpwnXX Can you explain a little more please?

  • how do you get stereo output on vocal remover?

  • Nice Job

  • to make it sound shwwww you do sliding time scale/pitch shift from 0 to -50 pitch. no tempo change

  • that would work... but you would probably get a copyright notice on here... :\
