  • My God,Kevin Stevens was one of the greatest power forwards ever. If only he didn't have that horrible injury in 1993. He was a bull back then. I miss those early 90's Pens teams.

  • My favorite player of all time.

  • It helps to play on a line with Jagr and Lemieux in there prime.

  • Kevin Stevens = greatest Penguins power forward ever.

  • man lemieux and jagr were dominant in this game

  • boston sucked the year after he was there, they made the playoffs the half year he was there then they got rick tocchet for him

  • Boston sucked when he was in Boston.

  • That hit certainly ended his prime too soon, because he was a dominant player from 1990-93. He did well in 93-94 too but afterward never played like America's answer to Cam Neely after that. He was probably #2 in Conn Smythe consideration in 1991 but his career was not only sidetracked by the unfortunate face-to-the-ice injury but drug problems as we're aware of (the crack with a hooker incident was a real low point).

  • I think Stevens never was the same after that freak hit in the last game against the Islanders in the 93 playoffs. It's a shame that his whole career wasn't as good as his peak years, he would certainly be a good HoF candidate if that were the case.

  • stevens sucked when he was in boston
