@SuperAntiZionist Oh, and that crack about not making it into some list of the 1001 books of all time, I can say two things, 1) In other prestigious lists it is hailed as the most important book of all time (google it). 2) Time has already proven you wrong, and will continue to do so.

@SuperAntiZionist Hmmmm.. I've read many books pre-Atlast Shrugged and found here to be one of the most intelligent minds I've every come across. She was a game changing Philosopher with a penetrating insight into how the work actually works; this means: the actual metaphysics, epistemology of this reality and life in it. Based on that she defined the best ethics and political system to follow for man's rational benefit. What is "psychopathic" about that?
-
Ditto on the lousy sound recording.
-
Ayn Rand was a psychopath.
Plus Atlas Shrugged is not even a good book, insidiously boring and with the character of a standard table spoon. It didn't even make the ABC top 1001 books of all time, and for good reason!
Most people are devoted to it because it's the only book they've bothered to bloody well read in their sad lives.

Rand is right and it becomes more apparent everyday !

This looks like an extremely facinating lecture; I just wish the quality of the audio was better.
