The "j" backgound looks like a Japanese flag. And that for "w" looks kinda like a Twister mat.

More likely this was animated by cel transformation master Vince Collins, and not The Hubleys.

I never would have guessed that this was a Hubley cartoon, if that 's true. But voice talents Gene Wilder and Joan Rivers from "Letterman"? I don't think so.

@JMaxfield09 "The Adventures of Letterman" was introduced on Season 3 (1971-1972) of Sesame Street. And they got Gene Wilder to do the voice of Letterman, Joan Rivers was the narrator, also Zero Mostel was the voice of Spell Binder, The Evil Magician.

@JMaxfield09 I have never seen The Electric Company. Before. But I do remember that The Electric Company's monolith segments was also aired on Sesame Street (such as the one for "ME!")
