I was wondering: where is the evidence that these books belonged to a Jewish Sec? & is there any connection to the Timing of these books being written during the Ptolemy Dynasty of Egypt during the Hellenistic period of the Jews, or before. we have Pliny the younger & Josephus as our main witnesses to the Jews, but there has been written works that say These two were brothers, and were related to the Jews by Herod but were of the Flavius Family,as well as aristocratic of Rome power.
