Christ is King
He's the reason I sing
For His glory

Romans 6:23,
the consequence of sin
For what we've done

I can't save myself

So it seems
an implausible feat
To save myself from hell
at the judgment seat
My opinions got
the best of me,
But it ain't enough
to set me free.

God sent His Son,
of the Trinity
Forsaken His Son
So that we may be

Saved by grace
Through faith,
eternity
Ephesians 2:8 n 9
Now we can see


His hands were pierced
He was nailed on the cross
not what he deserved
He paid the cost

Cuz Three days later,
he rose from the grave
Conquering all sin,
His life He gave
So that we may have the way, to eternity
Cleansed only His blood, now I'm free

Though we seem
to still fail and fall, I have confidence Christ will always call
Called to faith to live for Him, I need to stray away from my sin

Romans 10:9 n 10 I declare
It would bring me tears, to see you care
To see that we need, the Savior King
That we be saved sinners, living here to sing.

The Gospel, the truth, the words of love, That Christ would come down from above, To live to be a sacrifice, To give us a chance for new life
