We got our motor and transmission ready to put in.. We shortened our driveshaft, built the motor mounts, transmission mounts, got our clutch pedal, gas pedal, steering column, and seat installed.. Since we had all this hooked up, we decided to take it for a short drive.. Unfortunately, we didn't have a fuel pump, and tried to use gravity flow for the fuel, that didn't work out so well.
So after that 'hair-raising" ride, we took the engine, and everything else back and out, so we can finish the power wire brushing, grinding, and just getting all the metal ready for the rust preventative treatment.. After that drys, we'll start painting the chassis, engine, drive line etc..
