I had the money to buy one of those, but i decided to get a less paul 59' reissue. What an Asshole i am. What was i thinking. Probably tripping.

I love 59's... I had a chance to play 3 real 59's and there isn't anything that can come close to 59's. I'm actually looking for one with sunburst and a rare flame top like Mike Bloomfield(However you spell his name).

I've got that guitar. Well, not that one but I own a Gibson BB King Lucille only mine is not autographed. I bought mine new 2 years ago for $2400. It came with 10's on it but I changed them to 9's and lowered the action. If you like the blues, you can't beat this baby or a 335. Lucille is built around an ES 355, no F holes, varitone switch etc. This is without a doubt my favorite guitar.

I'm sure if you like your set up, you must do what you please but 9's on Lucille or Any of my Gibsons, I feel like I'm losing out a lot. But, that's just my opinion. I use 11's on all my gibsons.

You should give it a shot. 10's work great on Lucille. I've gotten to like 3rd position on varitone switch lately too.

Yep. '70th anniversary guitar, (black speedknobs changed) Mine's serialnr. 92076505 BB-King signed mine on the 8th of July 2011 while attending the North Sea Jazzfestival in Rotterdam, The Netherlands! I promised the man I would never sell it and that I keep playing it. And I will. The picture that was taken of me and BB-King is now in the case compartment, together with the mail from his management, the concertticket and gold marker that he used to sign it with! Priceless!
