sorry i am back my problem started when i went away to school i made myself funny so i would fit in as i thought i would be accepteble,as i am a bit of a geek.and yes i have had depressionss breakdowns cancer you name it.one word of advise.be you if others dont like it tough.

so how do tell the difference between making progress on my social skills and pretending to be good at social skills? if i managed to hold eye contact for more than 5 secs with the person Im talking to, is that a progress or a mask?

I wonder if an aspie holds a mask and want to try to keep it at any cost, will he starts a manipulation?, My father for me has many of the aspies caracteristics, I'm neurotypical, but I have the feeling that when I behave with empathy in situation were he fails the acting, he becomes very agresive to me, trying to convince me not to act with empathy, can it be? is there a realtionship in between an aspie acting and a manipulator?
