  • Dr. Tony confirms, it is indeed Maja's "Aspies don't have emotions" video. Search this address: IFxWdpuyY6o

  • I've written Dr. Tony and asked for the exact title of the Maja Toudal (AnMish) video he mentions. Will report it here when I find out.

  • funny i am just like victor, one day a church friend told me loose the mask and be you god knows your a very deep man so you dont need to be a jester anymore..jeff,,

  • @autismhangout A link in the video summary may be useful to others.

  • so how do tell the difference between making progress on my social skills and pretending to be good at social skills? if i managed to hold eye contact for more than 5 secs with the person Im talking to, is that a progress or a mask?

  • I wonder if an aspie holds a mask and want to try to keep it at any cost, will he starts a manipulation?, My father for me has many of the aspies caracteristics, I'm neurotypical, but I have the feeling that when I behave with empathy in situation were he fails the acting, he becomes very agresive to me, trying to convince me not to act with empathy, can it be? is there a realtionship in between an aspie acting and a manipulator?

  • Trying to break out -- to reveal itself to everyone else around me. Holding it back is tiring, so draining. And all the while that I won't set it free It ravages away inside my head instead. If I gave up and let go it would show the world my autism. I would hold my head and rock and sream and cry. But I'm a wife, a mother so I must fight it ----

I have to be strong and try.
