This is my 17th anime music video. Bubblegum Crisis has always been a favorite series of mine because it was one of the first animes I was actually exposed to. With great action, animation and soundtrack, it covered all the bases. Even with the Tokyo 2040 version, I loved everything about it.

I really wanted to catch the 80s feeling of the original BC so I went with an incredible song from my all time favorite 80s movie, Streets of Fire. I used the opening song in the movie where Ellen Page performs in concert and is then kidnapped by a biker gang led by Raven. If you havent seen it, check it out. It was a great movie and like BC, had a great story and soundtrack....no boomers though.

Main Song is Nowhere Fast, performed by Fire Inc. The bonus song is Waiting for a Hero by Frou Frou. I am aware I messed that up in the ending credits. I was listening to it play over as I put in the text. Honest mistake.

  • I love just pulling down my pants and letting my dog lick the shit out of my butthole while this song is playing.

  • @fyourcouchnigga You are not the only one apparently. Rick James said the same thing. Didn't know this song had such an effect on people.

  • Sorry, but would you mind telling me the first tune on this video, for intro...the trance one..

  • The song is called Final Fantasy and is performed by DNA.

  • Ha, Leo's squad car maxes out at 160km/h. I drove that fast in my Mazda MX-3 and still had some room left.

  • makes me fell sad that I was 5 when the 80s ended...

  • perfect vid, focused a lot on bikes! notice at 3:16 when she is dropping that monster bike and in the moment of falling she's still holding the clucth - which means that bike was so strong, she released a clutch just a liddlebit and bike flied :D - which means that creators were knowledgeable about bike mechanics actually. music i dont wanna talk about, it makes 90% of this perfect masterpiece. they dont make animations with so much passion these days

  • Bubblegum Crisis is my favorite anime form all times, since it was one of the first I ever saw. you did an awesome job.

Fun fact: The song "Akuma no Tenshi no Kiss" from OVA 4 is heavily inspired by this song, in fact some parts are nearly identical. BGC pays dear homage to the works on which is based on.

I never listened to "going nowhere fast" until waaaaay after I watched the entire series, and when I did and I found out where it was from, it blew my mind
