@elnacoea9 :While on the ground, Australia's #2 grabbed Grosso's left foot with his left hand (you can see it clearly in other videos on Youtube, even this one). Grosso might have exaggerated the fall - like EVERYBODY does - but it was a legitimate call. And yes, you can argue that Australia didn't deserve it, etc. etc.. But the penalty was there. Later, Italy played very well with Germany and won. But France, although they lost, played better than Italy in the final. Cheers.

elnacoea australia is and OK team italy is a POWER HOUSE when it comes to soccer italy dominated tht game and was unlucky you ustralia did have a bad call but either way he could have missed it and went into extra time ore a penalty shootout and italy would have won regardless

@elnacoea9 it wasn't a red card either, Materazzi didn't even touch the Australian player. Despite being one man up, Australia was dominated by Italy during the whole game
