A miniature haunted house I designed a few years ago. A see-through mirror projects a video from a DVD player located in the bottom of the house. More info.

  • Hi again, We have a couple questions, if we did use a video that we make could we do two people aka ghosts instead of one? Also, how do you scale down to the right size for the projection? What program did you use and how did you make them transparent looking? Also, are you using a projector or a t.v. with the dvd player? Thank you so much for your time and help, this will be a A for us for sure! :)

  • @blackberriesrock You can make however many ghosts you want. I used black drapes in the background to make it disappear (you can get fancy and use a green screen, but that's more work). There is a DVD player in the bottom with a built-in seven inch LCD screen, which is why the ghost is small. You're seeing it reflected in a sheet of plexiglass in front of the furniture. The same trick is used at theme parks.

  • Please, please explain this to us and send us a copy of the image you projected, we will pay for it! We are doing a nobel peace project for our science class on "how it works" we would love to do a petter ghost and this is the perfect size!

  • @blackberriesrock Actually, the plans are on my website (see above). You can easily film yourself or a friend in front of a black background to make the ghost video. Good Luck!

  • What's it saying? I couldn't quite understand...?

    Oh, and VERY cool! :D

  • @pepperpoirier "He left me! Why, oh, why? I know he must be around here somewhere..." I distorted the sound to make it more mysterious and scary.
