straight from Zan's mouth: men are (generally speaking) less picky about whom they sleep with. this is why men should RAISE THEIR STANDARDS and stop sleeping with women they are not really attracted to. Why do you think Zan spends so much time on his physic, grooming and attire? because women though they are "attracted with their ears" are still NOT blind...an out of shape sloppy guy is definitely NOT a turn on to a highly attractive and desirable women.

@AlekNovy To put it simply, the scientific FACT is that yes, looks don't matter in relationships (almost at all)...

BUT looks are almost everything in getting casual sex. That isn't to say you can't get causal sex if you're not handsome. It means you will have to rack up 10 times more rejections to get the same amount of casual sex that the handsome guy does.

Scientifically, there's thousands of studies that show that looks are the key factor in short-term mating. The most attractivelly built men are found to have 3-400% more casual sex partners.

In LTRs however, they found that looks make no difference. A lot of people selling dating seminars like to abuse the LTR-examples (like an ugly guy always having hot girlfriends) to imply that looks don't matter in how easy it is to get casual sex. That's a pure lie.

@metalhaze1982 it's still psychological; they went a man whose in good shape and very well groomed and well dressed, has status, money, etc. and then internally he's a very dynamic interesting person that will make her feel beautiful and good about herself and good in general. that's what a woman truly wants. men have to be dynamic typically, to make tons and tons of money and acquire tons and tons of status anyways. it's simple.

I think he might be exaggerating just to placate the guy conducting the interview. 10 seconds? It's a bit longer than that.

@Underpricing I don't think that is meant literally. It's not a canned line. What I think Zan is saying is that you want to communicate that you are interested in something other than her looks. You can communicate that you are curious about her. I'm sure every man can say that in their own way.

if you said to the girl "tell me something interesting about you" from the go, that's just weird and stupid, you can find these "intereseting" things with a normal conversation
