  • That was when Paul Cameron was the sports anchor! Got any of Jerry Peterson the weatherman at WSOC? I have one somewhere on a Beta video tape!

  • Don't have any of Jerry--would love to see some! I have a betamax if you need help transferring anything! The Reagan clip that you just posted is amazing!

  • I actually saw Bob Inman back earlier in the year. (2011) he and his wife were shopping at the store i worked at then. He said he was currently writing a new book. :)

  • Bob Knowles

  • I am WRONG, I apologize! Bob Inman is alive and well in North Carolina! (Boone, NC & Charlotte).

  • Bob Inman did not pass away from cancer. In fact, he is in the process of writing a new book. I talked to him several months ago on my high school alumni page.

  • Bob Inman passed away from cancer 2 or 3 yrs. ago. I am trying to find the clip where Mike McKay's wife barges into the station while he is giving the weather and confronts his "mistress", Barbara Stutts (the cooking lady).

  • Bob Inman is one of my hometown men and he is now an author and playwright. Have any of you read any of his books?

  • You probably noticed Bob Inman in the crowd at the start of that Reagan clip! And WSOC sports anchor Harold Johnson was on stage as the master of ceremonies!

  • Great WBTV classic news!

Bob Inman, Sarah James, Mike McKay and Paul Cameron were the best!
