There's so much junk of there, how do they know what of it is radioactive?

When the Russians put their minds to something, you better get out of their way! Everyone of those guys had more guts to go up on that roof than I have had in my 16 years of life. now that's bravery.

It's so horrible...
But the question is: This graphit enveloped the uranium! WHERE is the URIANIUM GONE?
Does it lies inside the reaktor? This theory is nonsence because: Why should the explosion spin out the graphit but the uranium stays inside?
It's a fact, the urianium and the graphit was ejected out of the reaktor during the explosion, and then the uranium melted and evaporated in the atmosphere!
That is what happen! And it very plausible that it already happen in the first night!

@stevieRay3211 It wasn't politics foult. It was Anatoli Dyatlof, chief who made experiement and didn't even inform plant director about it. He bypassed every important safety system, including the emergency core-cooling system + every backup electrical system, down to and including diesel generators, that would have allowed them to operate the reactor controls in the event of an emergency. He used machine in way it wasn't designed to use without thinking consequences.

@butterz2butterz2 Those medals didn't come from Chernobyl but because of his rank. Besides that medal guy was in roof too and working in same area where was radioactive. He put life in risk allready just for working there.

I have not met people like this in my lifetime. Amazing. God bless the liquidators, every one of them.

They should have sent the a-hole politicians in to clean up the mess instead of soldiers.
