He uses that guitar because he's celebrating the fact that he lived in Ireland for 17 years, the longest amount of time he's lived in one place. The colors of the guitar are the exact colors of an Irish manuscript or something like that that Don loves. He's having 2 more guitar's made, one called "Atlantis" after his song, and another as a tributeto George Harrison, with a tear drop on the back neck, as a reference to "as y guitar gently weeps,"which Harrison wrote.
