Horrible Game Losing Missed Catch - Rams 1/2/11 Rams vs. Se

The Rams miss a catch that is easily catchable. Sam Bradford makes perfect passes all game long but the Rams offense has no wide receivers and this is a great example of it. Donnie Avery got injured so they drafted Mark Clayton. Then Mark Clayton got injured and they didn't draft anyone. After that they didn't have any wide receivers.

In this game, the rams only score 2 field goals, and end the game with 2 challenges they could have used in good times. The game ended 6-16. If the Danario Alexander made that catch, that could have turned into a win. That was a long pass. It was a sad loss. The Rams had three completions in the entire season that was over 40 yards. Sums up everything perfectly.

I agree that this was terrible but i guess its a rookie mistake. Look at some of the balls that Danario Alexander did catch this year coming off 5 knee surgeries. Im talking the one against the chargers, and the one against the niners, hopefully he lives up to potential

I hope they all live up to potential, improve, and I also hope they get some new WR and TE in the offseason. That would help a lot. I have a good feeling about the rams in 11-12 season.

Theres no way he catches that and runs in the endzone not only was he tumbling to the ground while trying to catch but there were to guys RIGHT behind who will make the tackle.

Jerry Rice has dropped a ball like that. Alexander not making this catch did not lose them the game. For all of you that don't know Denario Alexander, he is an undrafted!!!!! free agent from the Missouri Tigers, so instead of all of you saying how bad he sucks just off this one play, watch his missouri highlights and tell me how bad he sucks.

I didn't say I could catch it or that I'm better than him, but he's in the NFL for a reason and he should have at least been a little closer to catching that

It's all good. Yeah, we had Clayton and Amendola, then Clayton went down early in the season. Would have been a lot better if Clayton didn't get injured.

If we don't get Julio Jones in the draft or Sidney Rice from free agency, I'll still be a little worried about our WR situation because we still won't have a true #1.

My mistake... btw, you're forgetting about Mark Clayton when you mention the lack of recievers.
